One of Miami’s most beloved traditions returns to North Miami: Jazz at MOCA presents The Mike Gerber Quartet on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 8:00 PM on the MOCA Plaza — and as always, it is free.
Jazz at MOCA is South Florida’s longest-running free outdoor jazz concert series. Since 1999 it has filled the museum’s plaza on the last Friday of every month with hundreds of music lovers enjoying open-air jazz under the stars.
Headlining the October edition is pianist, composer and educator Mike Gerber, whose remarkable career includes performances with legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Art Blakey, Jaco Pastorius and Pat Metheny. Expect an evening of technical brilliance, joyful improvisation and pure swing.
Bring a blanket, bring the family, and enjoy world-class jazz in one of the city’s most welcoming cultural spaces. Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, 770 NE 125th Street, North Miami. Details at mocanomi.org.
