One of Miami Beach’s most magical holiday traditions is back: the Miami Beach Holiday Festival of Lights, presented by the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival, lights up Ocean Drive this December.
On December 12, 13, 19, and 20, 2026, starting at 6:15 PM, the historic facade of The Betsy Hotel (1440 Ocean Drive) becomes a giant canvas of light — a live orchestra performs holiday favorites while dazzling projection mapping dances across the building.
Opening night, December 12, is extra special: the holiday concert pairs with the City of Miami Beach’s Annual Holiday Drone Show on the beach — hundreds of drones painting the night sky. On December 13, 19, and 20, families can enjoy the orchestra show with very special guests: Santa, the Grinch, Elsa, and even a little “snow” in Miami Beach.
Admission is free, and the event is perfect for all ages. Arrive early, grab a spot on Ocean Drive, and let the music and lights kick off your holiday season the Miami way.
