The holiday season in Miami has a beloved opening act — and it is made for families.
Miami City Ballet’s ‘Nutcracker Magic’ children’s fundraising celebration returns on Thursday, December 10, 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Adrienne Arsht Center. This one-of-a-kind family event begins with a festive holiday party full of special surprises — and then opens the doors to something truly exclusive: a private dress rehearsal of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, the company’s sparkling holiday tradition.
Your kids get the magic of the season, the wonder of world-class ballet and the thrill of seeing the dancers up close before opening night. Even better: every ticket supports Miami City Ballet’s Community Engagement programs, including Ballet Bus and the Student Scholarship Fund, which bring ballet to local children and families all year long.
The Nutcracker season itself runs December 11–27, so Nutcracker Magic is the perfect way to kick off the holidays — mark your calendar now, because family events like this fill up fast.
