Every child deserves a day of play — and Miami Children’s Museum makes it happen!
On the second Saturday of every month, the Museum opens its doors for Sensory Friendly Saturdays, a specially designed experience for children with disabilities and their families. The next one is Saturday, October 10.
Guests explore the Museum in a sensory-modified, supportive setting: limited admission means smaller crowds, with lowered sound and lighting throughout the galleries. Families can also connect with service providers and learn about community resources available in South Florida — plus experience the magical Multi-Sensory/Snoezelen Room, with its calming visuals in a comfortable, reduced-lighting setting.
Miami Children’s Museum, at 980 MacArthur Causeway, has spent 32 years creating experiences for every child in our multicultural community — and Sensory Friendly Saturdays are a shining example of that inclusive spirit.
Space is limited and registration is required — sign-up closes the Friday before each event at 5:00 PM. If your plans change, just let the Museum know so another family can take your spot. A beautiful, judgment-free morning of discovery awaits!
