Miami Falls for the Arts: The City’s Biggest Fall Culture Season Is Here

Miami is turning autumn into art season. The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau has unveiled “Fall for the Arts 2026,” a citywide celebration of dance, music, exhibitions and public art that builds all the way to Miami Art Week (November 30 – December 6).

The lineup reads like a greatest-hits of Miami culture. Miami City Ballet opens its new season this month with the works of George Balanchine. The Adrienne Arsht Center hosts Buena Vista Social Club, the Chucho Valdés 85th Birthday Celebration and “An Evening of Songs and Stories” with Patti Smith.

Film lovers get Miami Film Festival GEMS (October 29 – November 5), book lovers get the Miami Book Fair (November 15 – 22), and Wynwood Walls launches a brand-new Artist-in-Residence program. During Miami Art Week itself, longtime favorites Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami return to Mana Wynwood for their 16th and 21st editions.

One more reason to go: PAMM’s “Basquiat: Figures, Signs, Symbols” gathers ten works by Jean-Michel Basquiat from the collection of Miami resident Ken Griffin — a $500 million concentration of masterpieces on view through June 6, 2027.

“Fall for the Arts captures what makes Greater Miami and Miami Beach such a vibrant cultural destination,” said GMCVB President and CEO David Whitaker. Our stages, galleries and neighborhoods are ready — and so is the calendar.
