Miami’s story belongs to everyone — and on Saturday, November 7, the Museum of Miami opens its doors to the whole community, completely free.
The museum’s Free Community Fun Day runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 101 West Flagler Street in downtown Miami. Every second Saturday of the month, admission is free for all ages and all backgrounds.
The day starts gently: from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, sensory-friendly time welcomes families of children, teens, and young adults who are neurodiverse, on the autism spectrum, or have sensory processing and cognitive accommodation needs — a quieter space to explore the galleries at their own pace.
From 12:00 to 5:00 PM, free admission opens for the whole community. Visitors can walk through every exhibition, including “Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida,” trace Miami’s roots, get crafty, and join a scavenger hunt available only on Free Community Fun Day.
It’s a joyful, inclusive way to connect with Miami’s past — and with the neighbors who are writing its future.
