Turn up the amps and gather under the stars: the Miami Beach Rock Ensemble returns to the Miami Beach Bandshell on Saturday, November 14 for its annual tribute concert celebrating the life, legacy, and influence of legendary educator, musician, and rock and roll pioneer Doug Burris. Best of all — admission is completely FREE and all ages are welcome.
Since 1972, the Miami Beach Rock Ensemble has been a cornerstone of South Florida’s music scene, inspiring generations of musicians and delivering unforgettable performances. This special evening honors Doug Burris’s lasting impact with an electrifying night of classic rock favorites, iconic anthems, soaring guitar solos, and powerhouse vocals — featuring the Rock Ensemble alongside alumni and special guest performers.
Expect the timeless music of artists like Journey, Queen, Heart, Led Zeppelin, Yes, and more, played with the energy only a live rock band can deliver. Whether you’re a longtime rock fan or just looking for great live music under the stars, this concert is a celebration of the music, community, and spirit that keep rock and roll alive in Miami.
Doors open at 6 PM and the concert starts at 7 PM. The event is presented by Young Musicians Unite. Full details are available at miamibeachbandshell.com.
