If you’ve ever wanted to turn your garden into a tropical paradise, this is your weekend. The South Florida Palm Society celebrates its 42nd Fall Show & Sale at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden on Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — and general admission is included with your ticket.
What began in the 1970s as a one-day sale in a movie theater parking lot has grown into one of South Florida’s happiest plant traditions: two days of rare and beautiful palms and cycads, expert growers sharing advice, and a setting — Fairchild’s 83 acres of tropical gardens in Coral Gables — that no plant lover should miss.
It’s a perfect family outing: kids love wandering the garden’s butterfly conservatory and rainforest exhibits between plant shopping, and parents leave with expert tips for their own yards. Fairchild members log in for free tickets; day tickets start at $27.95 for adults, $20.95 for seniors, and $14.95 for kids 3–11 (little ones under 3 go free).
Come for the plants, stay for the garden — and leave with a little more green in your life.
