Halloween in Miami 2026: Best Events, Parties & Family Fun

Miami does Halloween like nowhere else: costumes under palm trees, haunted trails through a tropical garden, spooky science nights and a full-blown block party on Miami Beach. Here is our roundup of the best Halloween 2026 plans across Greater Miami — from family-friendly afternoons to adults-only after-dark thrills. For the grown-ups

Oct 15 — nightLAB: Weird Science at Frost Science. Downtown’s beloved museum stays up late for an adults-only (21+) evening of spine-tingling science, spooky cocktails and costume fun, 7:00 to 11:00 PM. Tickets are $32.95 ($15 for members).

Oct 22 — Dracula ballet in Aventura. Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida presents the Miami premiere of Dracula, Roberto Forleo’s full-length ballet inspired by Bram Stoker’s legendary tale, at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center — Thursday at 7:30 PM.

Oct 23–24 — Garden of Shadows at Fairchild. The Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s beloved haunted after-dark trail returns: six scary story encounters along the Shadow Trail, tarot readers, aerialists, live music, cocktails and mocktails — plus a costume contest with $250, $100 and $50 prizes at 9 PM. Hours 7:00–10:30 PM; $35.95 general admission, members save $5. Adult themes.

Throughout October — Historic Ghost Tours at Deering Estate. Palmetto Bay’s historic bayfront estate hosts its classic ghost tours on select Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7:30–9:30 PM — real Miami history meets ghost stories.

For the whole family

Oct 23 — Halloween at The Moss Center. The Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center in Cutler Bay celebrates Halloween with its annual family-friendly night on Oct 23.

Oct 24–25 — Zoo Boo at Zoo Miami. The zoo’s family favorite returns Oct 24–25, 10 AM–3 PM: trick-or-treating stations, character meet-and-greets and wildly creative costumes.

Oct 30 — Art House of Horror Movie Marathon. O Cinema and the North Beach Bandshell team up for a full day of horror classics — perfect warm-up for the big night.

Oct 31 — Spooky Science Monster Mash at Frost Science. The museum’s 10th annual family Halloween bash lands on Halloween itself, Oct 31 — costumes, critters and not-too-spooky science all day.

Oct 31 — Toy Story of Terror Spooktacular at Seminole Theatre. Homestead’s historic theater hosts a family Halloween night with Pixar’s Toy Story of Terror on the big screen, Oct 31.

Oct 31 — Lincoln Road Halloween Block Party (FREE). Miami Beach’s iconic promenade turns into a giant costume catwalk on Halloween night, 5 PM–2 AM — one of the biggest free parties in the city.

Bonus — Nov 1: The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Día de Muertos style at the North Beach Bandshell — keep the costume, come back the next night.
