Great news for art lovers: Pérez Art Museum Miami is streaming an entire exhibition online — for free. This Is America x PAMMTV is available in the museum’s auditorium and worldwide via PAMMTV through July 7, 2027.
The digital presentation gathers time-based works by some of the most powerful voices in American art: Howardena Pindell, Martine Syms, Carrie Mae Weems, Rashid Johnson and Yucef Merhi. Video, performance and technology explore how artists use voice and image to engage with the nation’s evolution — a resonant project as the United States approaches its 250th anniversary.
And there’s a waterfront bonus: Alfredo Jaar’s milestone animation A Logo for America, on loan from Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, plays on PAMM’s East Portico screen every evening from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Originally shown in Times Square in 1987, it now glows over Biscayne Bay.
