Miami is about to host one of the most extraordinary art exhibitions in its history. “Picasso–Klee–Matisse: Masterpieces from the Museum Berggruen” opens at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) on October 29, 2026, and runs through February 28, 2027 — and it is a once-in-a-generation event.
Nearly 100 masterpieces by Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee and Henri Matisse — along with works by Alberto Giacometti, Paul Cézanne and Georges Braque — travel to Miami from the Museum Berggruen in Berlin. It is PAMM’s first exhibition devoted entirely to European modernism, and the museum is staging it as a joyful dialogue with the modernist masters of Latin America already in its collection, from Diego Rivera to Joaquín Torres-García and Wifredo Lam.
