Downtown Miami’s favorite museum is staying up late for Halloween. Frost Science presents nightLAB: Weird Science on Thursday, October 15 from 7:00 to 11:00 PM — an adults-only (21+) after-hours night of spine-tingling science, spooky drinks and costume fun.
Guests can explore the exhibitions after dark, do hands-on experiments, chat with community partners and sip spooktacular drinks. The Frost Planetarium runs special Dark Universe shows at 7:15, 8:00 and 8:45 PM, narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson (reservation required), and FIU ecologist Professor Hong Liu hosts an “Expert on Call” session on Vista, Level 4. The night also folds in III Points festival satellite shows featuring Danny Daze’s ::BLUE::.
Come dressed to impress: the Weird Science Costume Contest awards one lucky guest a Frost Science Crew Membership worth $179. Tickets are $32.95 ($15 for members, up to four per member). Costume guidelines apply — details and tickets at frostscience.org.
