Wynwood’s Día de los Muertos Ofrenda Trail Returns October 30 with Art, Flowers and Community Remembrance

Wynwood is turning remembrance into art. Starting October 30, the neighborhood’s Día de los Muertos Ofrenda Trail invites everyone to wander the district and discover ofrendas — traditional altars honoring loved ones — created by participating businesses with marigolds, photographs, food and candles. Organized by the Wynwood Business Improvement District, the free, self-guided trail transforms the streets into an open-air celebration of one of Mexico’s most beautiful traditions. An official trail map is coming soon to guide visitors from ofrenda to ofrenda. It is a perfect fall outing: stroll the world’s most famous street-art district, pause at colorful altars, and reflect on the people who shaped our lives — all for free, all in the open Miami air. Bring the family, bring your camera, and bring your memories. Photo: Wynwood BID
