A living legend of Afro-Peruvian music is coming to Cutler Bay. Eva Ayllón, the beloved ‘Queen of Landó,’ performs at The Moss Center on Sunday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m., joined by special guest Daniela Darcourt, the rising star of Peruvian salsa. With a career spanning more than five decades, a Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award (2019) and multiple Latin Grammy nominations, Ayllón is the foremost ambassador of landó and Afro-Peruvian song — music born from the African diaspora on Peru’s coast, full of rhythm, poetry and soul. Sharing the stage with Darcourt, one of the most exciting young voices in tropical music, the evening promises a beautiful bridge between generations. And arriving during Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15), it is a perfect celebration of the Peruvian community’s rich contribution to Miami’s cultural mosaic. Tickets are available now through The Moss Center. An unforgettable night of Peruvian pride awaits. Photo: Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau
