October begins in the Miami Design District with an evening of movement, community and purpose. On Thursday, October 1, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Palm Court hosts the Breast Cancer Awareness Month Celebration — a free wellness gathering in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The evening opens with a special yoga class led by Angeles Almuna, founder of Fashion Strikes Cancer, and Dawn Feinberg, founder of Ahana Yoga. Then comes the annual Pink Dome Lighting, when the district’s iconic Buckminster Fuller Fly’s Eye Dome glows pink against the night sky — a luminous reminder of the cause.
A DJ set by DIVINA keeps the energy high, with sips from Mia Market and rosé courtesy of The Pale. The event is organized in partnership with the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and The Pale.
Admission is free, but capacity is limited — RSVP soon to reserve your spot. Just remember to bring your own yoga mat. Good vibes, good company and a good cause: the perfect way to kick off the month.
