Greater Miami & Miami Beach keeps buzzing with openings and new experiences this fall, according to the latest What’s New roundup from the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. Here’s the happy news:
Hotel milestones: the Royal Palm South Beach reopened in July after a more than $100 million renovation — the iconic art deco hotel is back as Marriott’s flagship Tribute Portfolio Resort, with redesigned rooms, new culinary concepts, restored historic details and direct beach access. And the Grand Hyatt Miami Beach hit a major construction milestone in July with the topping off of its 800-room convention headquarters hotel, set to open in late 2027 with a skybridge to the Miami Beach Convention Center.
New tables to try: Lincoln Road welcomed Sulta Rosa, a luxury coffee and dessert destination from Dancing with the Stars professionals Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov, pairing specialty coffees with handcrafted sweets. Pho Nam debuted this summer with traditional Vietnamese cooking from the team behind Tâm Tâm, led by Chef Tam Pham. Casa Rassi opened its first permanent location on Park Avenue in South Beach after starting as a beloved coffee pop-up. Manoli opened in Coconut Grove in July, bringing Greek and Mediterranean flavors to Main Highway under Chef Manoli Aslanoglou. CHŌ Funky Asian Bistro is now serving in Sunset Harbour, and the Oleta River Grill is now open inside Oleta River State Park — waterfront seafood, tacos and Caribbean-inspired fare for kayakers, cyclists and park visitors.
More ways to play: the Novotel Miami Brickell launched a weekend brunch at its Vista Rooftop Bar & Lounge and UVA Restaurant & Bar, with two-hour bottomless drink packages. Red Rooster Overtown is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a limited-time J Scott Burger — and a portion of proceeds supports the nonprofit Dunn’s Overtown Farm. And at the InterContinental Miami, a virtual canine concierge named Rocco now gives personalized recommendations for dog-friendly parks, restaurants and walking routes — plus elevated in-room dining for four-legged guests.
