This year, Oktoberfest is taking a detour to the Magic City. For the first time ever, Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink — James Beard Award winner Michael Schwartz’s beloved Design District destination — is honoring the famous festival with a limited-edition menu running September 28 through October 18.
Locals and visitors can enjoy a curated selection of crisp Märzen lagers and German-inspired delicacies with a genuine twist. Available during lunch Monday through Saturday and dinner daily, Chef Schwartz and Executive Chef Randy Zuniga put their own spin on the most iconic Bavarian dishes.
Highlights include wood-baked Spätzle, a golden Pretzel Tart and slow-roasted Pork Knuckle — plus a rotating lineup of seasonal German beers to pair them with.
