Five days is the complete Miami: every essential, at a pace that leaves room for lingering. The fifth day is deliberately unscheduled in the middle — a breather before the finale.
Day 1 — South Beach icons
Morning: Beach + Ocean Drive Art Deco stroll. Afternoon: Lincoln Road, South Pointe Park sunset. Evening: Española Way dinner.
Day 2 — Wynwood, Design District & Little Havana
Morning: Wynwood Walls at opening. Afternoon: Design District. Evening: Calle Ocho — dinner and live music.
Day 3 — Everglades day trip
Morning: Early airboat ride + wildlife show (book the first departure). Afternoon: Coral Gables — Miracle Mile lunch, Venetian Pool or Fairchild Garden. Evening: Dinner in the Gables.
Day 4 — Slow day: Vizcaya, Grove & Key Biscayne
Morning (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM): Vizcaya Museum and Gardens at opening — the gardens are quietest in the first hour. (Closed Tue–Wed; timed tickets online.)
Afternoon: Coconut Grove waterfront lunch, then Key Biscayne: Crandon Park beach or the Bill Baggs lighthouse.
Evening: Low-key dinner back in the Grove — you’ve earned the slow night.
Day 5 — Museums, bay and farewell
Morning (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Pérez Art Museum Miami on the bay.
Afternoon (1:30 – 5:00 PM): Frost Science next door — aquarium plus planetarium.
Evening: Farewell dinner in Brickell with the skyline view, or one last South Beach sunset walk if you’re not ready to leave.
Getting around: mix of walking (South Beach, Grove), rideshare between zones, and the free Metromover downtown/Brickell. The Everglades day needs a car or tour pickup. Photo: Miami Happy News.
