Four days adds the wild side: the Everglades, plus the museums day most itineraries skip. Mornings start early for heat and light; afternoons stay flexible.
Day 1 — South Beach icons
Morning: Beach + Ocean Drive Art Deco stroll. Afternoon: Lincoln Road, South Pointe Park sunset. Evening: Española Way dinner.
Day 2 — Wynwood, Design District & Little Havana
Morning: Wynwood Walls at 10:30 AM opening. Afternoon: Design District. Evening: Calle Ocho — dinner and live music.
Day 3 — Everglades day trip
Morning (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM): The Everglades are 45–60 minutes west — leave early. An airboat ride (about an hour on the water) plus a wildlife show fills the morning; you’ll likely see alligators. Book the first departure of the day for the calmest water and most active wildlife.
Afternoon (2:00 – 5:00 PM): Back in the city, slow down: lunch in Coral Gables on Miracle Mile, then the Venetian Pool (open seasonally — check ahead) or the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.
Evening: Dinner in Coral Gables, one of Miami’s prettiest nighttime strolls.
Day 4 — Museums and the bay
Morning (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), right on Biscayne Bay — the building and the hanging gardens are half the experience.
Afternoon (1:30 – 5:00 PM): Walk next door to Frost Science: the aquarium’s Gulf Stream tank and the planetarium shows anchor the afternoon.
Evening: Bayside Marketplace for the sunset over the marina, then dinner in Brickell — ride the free Metromover loop to see downtown light up.
Getting around: the Everglades day needs a car or a booked tour with pickup. Museum Park (PAMM + Frost) is one stop — do them together. Photo: Miami Happy News.
