Three days lets you do Miami properly: the beach icons, the art neighborhoods, and the lush, historic side most visitors miss. Days build from essential to hidden-gem.
Day 1 — South Beach icons
Morning (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Beach near 10th Street, then Ocean Drive and the Art Deco Historic District.
Afternoon (2:00 – 5:30 PM): Lincoln Road for lunch and strolling, then South Pointe Park for the sunset.
Evening: Dinner on Española Way.
Day 2 — Wynwood, Design District & Little Havana
Morning (10:30 AM – 1:30 PM): Wynwood Walls at opening, then neighborhood galleries.
Afternoon (2:00 – 5:00 PM): Miami Design District (public art, flagship stores) — it’s a 5-minute drive from Wynwood.
Evening: Little Havana: Calle Ocho, Domino Park, dinner and live music.
Day 3 — Vizcaya, Coconut Grove & Key Biscayne
Morning (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM): Vizcaya Museum and Gardens opens at 9:30 AM — arrive early for the soft light in the Italian gardens and the bayfront views. Allow 2.5–3 hours. Book timed tickets online; note it’s closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Lunch (1:00 – 2:30 PM): Coconut Grove, five minutes south — waterfront restaurants along Bayshore Drive.
Afternoon (3:00 – 6:00 PM): Cross the Rickenbacker Causeway to Key Biscayne: Crandon Park’s calm family beach or the historic lighthouse at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.
Evening: Back to Brickell for dinner with skyline views — the free Metromover makes the neighborhood easy to explore.
Getting around: rideshare between zones; the Rickenbacker to Key Biscayne is a 15-minute drive with tolls. Photo: Miami Happy News.
