Punk-rock poet, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and bestselling author Patti Smith is coming to Miami for one unforgettable night. On Friday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m., she takes the stage at the Adrienne Arsht Center for “An Evening of Songs and Stories,” an intimate night mixing the music and the words that made her a legend.
The evening celebrates her brand-new memoir, Bread of Angels, a warm, deeply personal look back at her childhood, her family and her life as an artist — from the starving-artist days in New York to world tours and the National Book Award she won for Just Kids. Expect songs from across her storied career alongside the stories behind them, told in her unmistakable voice.
The night is presented in partnership with Books & Books and the Miami Book Fair, so book lovers are in for a treat too. Whether you fell in love with “Horses” fifty years ago or just discovered her Substack, this is a rare chance to spend an evening with one of America’s most essential artists — right here in downtown Miami.
Tickets are available through the Arsht Center. Don’t wait: one night only!
