Stories that heal take center stage this weekend. On Saturday, October 10, NAMI Miami-Dade hosts the 2026 Reel Minds Mental Health Film Festival at the Little Haiti Cultural Center, a celebration of World Mental Health Day through powerful storytelling and community conversation.
The festival features a curated selection of thought-provoking short films highlighting resilience, recovery, and the diverse experiences of people living with mental health conditions. After each screening, audiences can join conversations with filmmakers, mental health professionals, and community members — and this year, attendees will help choose the Audience Choice Award winner.
Tickets start at just $15, and parking is free. Whether you’re a film lover, a mental health advocate, a student, or simply curious about the experiences of others, Reel Minds is a chance to connect, learn, and see the world a little differently.
The details: Saturday, October 10, 2026, 12 to 5 p.m. Little Haiti Cultural Center, 212 NE 59th Terrace, Miami. Tickets from $15; free parking.
