The rhythms of Havana are filling downtown Miami for one final weekend. The Tony and GRAMMY Award-winning musical Buena Vista Social Club is wrapping its much-anticipated South Florida premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center, with its last performances on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2026, in the Ziff Ballet Opera House.
The show, which launched the Arsht’s 2026-27 Broadway in Miami season right in the middle of Hispanic Heritage Month, tells the story of the Cuban musicians whose legendary 1997 album introduced son cubano and bolero to the world. And this production has Miami in its DNA: the book was written by Hialeah native and Tony nominee Marco Ramirez, and the acclaimed choreography comes from Miami native Patricia Delgado — a former Miami City Ballet principal dancer — alongside Justin Peck, with whom she won the 2025 Tony Award for Best Choreography.
Throughout the engagement, the Arsht has been celebrating with “Rhythm & Roots at the Arsht,” a free weeklong celebration of Cuban music, culture and community beyond the stage.
Tickets run from $52.65 to $204.75 and are available at ArshtCenter.org or by calling the Arsht box office at (305) 949-6722. If you love live music, this is the weekend to be at the Arsht.
