A major new exhibition is coming to Miami Beach. The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU will open ‘The Wondering Jew: Chagall, the School of Paris and the Worlds They Inspired’ on November 18, 2026. Housed in a lovingly restored historic synagogue, the museum will celebrate the dreamlike art of Marc Chagall alongside the creative ferment of the School of Paris — the circle of immigrant artists who transformed modern art in early 20th-century France. It is a story of migration, imagination and resilience that resonates deeply in Miami. The exhibition anchors an exciting season at the museum, which also announced its Florida Jewish Heritage Month Gala on January 14, 2027 and ‘We Were Always Here,’ a show on Black Jewish history, opening in February 2027. Art lovers, mark your calendars: November 18 is a date for wonder. Photo: Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU
