MOMIX Brings “Botanica,” a Nature-Inspired Dance Spectacle, to The Moss Center November 21–22

Nature is taking center stage in South Dade. On November 21 and 22, the world-renowned dance company MOMIX brings Botanica to The Moss Center in Cutler Bay — a breathtaking, family-friendly spectacle inspired by the beauty and mystery of the plant world.

Created by MOMIX founder and artistic director Moses Pendleton, Botanica unfolds like a living garden in motion: dancers become flowers, seeds, and forest creatures, set to the music of Vivaldi and enhanced by dazzling projections, inventive props, and puppetry. The result is a visual poem that delights audiences of all ages — equal parts dance, theater, and magic.

The Moss Center (formerly the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center), the county’s premier performing arts venue in Cutler Bay, is the perfect home for this production, bringing world-class culture to South Dade families without the drive downtown.

Tickets are available through The Moss Center’s box office. Whether you’re a dance devotee or simply looking for an enchanting family outing, Botanica promises an evening that will grow on you — literally.
