A living legend of jazz lands in Miami Beach. Three-time Grammy Award winner John Scofield brings his new project Electrospective to the Miami Beach Bandshell on Saturday, October 24 — a retrospective of his now-classic fusion groove compositions, revisited with the wisdom of a 54-year career.
Expect tunes from his celebrated Blue Matter, Uberjam, and AGoGo bands, plus new material in the same vein. Joining Scofield is a stellar band: legendary bassist Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Allman Brothers), multidimensional keyboardist Larry Goldings, and super-funk drummer Adam Deitch.
It’s a rare chance to hear one of the most influential guitarists of his generation reimagine his own classics under the stars.
The details: Saturday, October 24, 2026. Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m. Miami Beach Bandshell, 7275 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach. All ages.
