Miami’s fashion scene just got a little more French — and a lot more fabulous. Jacquemus has officially opened its first Miami boutique in the Miami Design District, at 157 NE 40th Street.
The two-story, nearly 3,000-square-foot store was designed by Simon Porte Jacquemus himself in collaboration with OMA. Sunlight pours through new façade openings, handmade stucco walls and forged-iron details add warmth, and at the center curves a stunning staircase of Saint-Marc Jaune stone. The boutique also features a dedicated shoe salon, a private VIP area, and art personally selected by Jacquemus — including Germaine Richier’s 1954 bronze “Le Coureur” and works by Aristide Maillol.
Founded in Paris in 2009, Jacquemus became a global phenomenon with playful designs like the tiny Le Chiquito bag. Of Miami, Jacquemus said the city is “warm, modern and creative” — and he wanted the boutique to feel “very Miami and very Jacquemus.”
Stop by the Design District to see it for yourself — the window displays will change with future art installations, so there’s always a reason to peek in again.
