Elegance has a new address in Miami. Carolina Herrera has opened its new flagship boutique in the Miami Design District, at 127 NE 41st Street — the House’s sixth boutique in the United States, arriving just as the brand celebrates its 45th anniversary.
The nearly 3,000-square-foot space is a love letter to both the brand and the city. Creative director Wes Gordon envisioned a grand architectural arch and sculptural limestone façade; inside, soft pink Venetian plaster with shimmering mica, vivid red accents and bold geometric flooring set the stage for ready-to-wear, eveningwear, handbags, accessories, beauty, fragrance and eyewear.
“The Carolina Herrera woman is bold, elegant, and joyful,” says Gordon. “Her energy is magnetic — much like the spirit of Miami — so it feels entirely natural that we should open our next home here.”
Art lovers will find plenty to admire too: Argentine artist Constanza Vallese created a custom floral motif appearing across the boutique, and a dramatic textile installation by Los Angeles artist Liz Oliver floats above the main salon.
