Miami’s most colorful family celebration of the year is back! The Adrienne Arsht Center invites you to “Journey to Día de Muertos,” a joyful afternoon honoring the beloved Mexican tradition of the Day of the Dead, on Sunday, November 1 at 3 p.m.
The star of the day is Calpulli Mexican Dance Company, one of the country’s most celebrated Mexican folk dance ensembles, bringing vibrant choreography, stunning costumes, and live music to the stage. Expect swirling skirts, mariachi rhythms, and a celebration that turns remembrance into pure joy.
The best part? This is a Pay-What-You-Can performance, meaning the whole family can enjoy a world-class cultural experience at whatever price feels right. Come early to soak in the festive atmosphere, see the beautiful ofrendas (altars), and let the kids discover one of Mexico’s most meaningful traditions through music and dance.
The Arsht Center sits at 1300 Biscayne Boulevard in the heart of Downtown Miami, easy to reach by Metrorail or Brightline. Grab lunch in the neighborhood before the show — Little Havana is just minutes away for authentic cafecito and croquetas.
Tickets are available now at arshtcenter.org. This is one of those magical Miami afternoons that fills the theater with color, music, and community spirit. Don’t miss it!
