Looking for something meaningful for the young men in your family? The South Miami chapter of DeMolay opens its doors every Thursday evening with a free Youth Leadership Open House — the next one is October 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Temple, 471 NW 3rd Street, Miami.
DeMolay is a youth leadership organization where young men build real-life skills: confidence, public speaking, community service, and teamwork. The weekly open house is a relaxed way for families to see what it’s all about, meet current members, and ask questions. No Masonry connection is required — just curiosity and a desire to grow.
In a city full of distractions, programs like this give young people something rare: a place to belong, mentors who care, and skills that last a lifetime. Families are warmly welcome.
Admission is free, every Thursday. A small step through the door could be a big step for a young leader.
