Everyone has a voice — and this Sunday, Miami gets to use it together. Miami Sound Space presents “Who Gets to Sing?”, a free participatory singing workshop led by artist Laurah Merisier, on Sunday, October 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Koubek Center in Little Havana.
Part of Live Arts Miami’s LALA Open Studio series, the workshop invites absolutely everyone: no experience, no training, no auditions — just show up ready to sing. It’s about the joy of making music together, building community one voice at a time in one of Miami’s most culturally rich neighborhoods.
Community singing has a way of turning strangers into neighbors, and the Koubek Center — a historic gem in the heart of Little Havana — is the perfect setting for an afternoon of shared song.
