Something dark is stirring on Miracle Mile. Actors’ Playhouse opens its 2026–27 mainstage season with the gothic musical thriller ‘Jekyll & Hyde,’ running October 7 through November 1 at the historic Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables. Based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novella, with music by Frank Wildhorn and book and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, the musical follows Dr. Henry Jekyll’s fateful experiment — and the monstrous Mr. Hyde it unleashes. It is a sweeping, romantic and chilling tale, just in time for Halloween season. Actors’ Playhouse, the beloved nonprofit theater company, continues its tradition of bringing Broadway-caliber productions to the heart of Coral Gables.
