Flamenco is coming to Surfside. The acclaimed Flamencodanza Show — a touring dance-and-guitar production that has wowed audiences internationally since 2021 — performs one night only on Friday, November 6 at 7:00 PM at Casa Studios in Surfside.
The show blends traditional flamenco with Brazilian music and jazz, pairing the fire of dancer Aylin Bayaz with the virtuosity of flamenco guitarist Anthony Tran. The production earned recognition at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2022, where it was praised for its inventive mix of dance and physical theatre.
It’s an intimate night: Casa Studios at 228 89th St, Suite 101, puts every seat close to the action, and at just $20 a ticket via Eventbrite, it’s one of the most affordable world-class dance experiences in town this fall.
Flamencodanza is part of the growing wave of live performing arts filling Surfside and North Beach this season — a perfect plan for a Friday night out.
