North Beach is getting a double dose of art this week. Oolite Arts opens two new exhibitions on October 7 at its Windows @ Walgreens galleries on Collins Avenue — and like all of Oolite’s storefront shows, they’re completely free to enjoy, day and night.
At 74th Street & Collins, Cuban-American artist Beatriz Monteavaro presents “Marseille Drive,” an installation rooted in her first years in North Beach after emigrating from Cuba. Through fragmented family memories in paintings and sculptures, Monteavaro reflects on migration, refuge and memory — a deeply Miami story told with heart.
A few blocks south, at 67th Street & Collins, artist and designer Jillian Mayer unveils “MAYER OBJECTS”: a limited-edition line of handmade design objects in ceramic, glass and metal that brings her sculptural practice into beautiful, collectible, functional pieces.

Both exhibitions run through January 10, 2027. Take an evening stroll down Collins, peek into the windows, and discover two of Miami’s most imaginative artists — no ticket required.
