Felipe Peláez Celebrates 20 Years of Music Tonight at the James L. Knight Center

Tonight is a night to celebrate for vallenato lovers: Colombian singer-songwriter Felipe Peláez brings his “Celebrando 20 Años de Carrera” tour to the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

Two decades of romantic vallenato have made Peláez one of the most beloved voices of the genre. Fans can expect an emotional journey through the hits that defined his career — from “Tu hombre soy yo” to “El amor más grande del planeta” — songs that have become the soundtrack of countless love stories across Latin America and the U.S.

Celebrating 20 years on stage, Peláez has recently reimagined his classics with lush symphonic arrangements, blending tradition with fresh new sounds. Tonight’s show promises that same spirit: vallenato with heart, nostalgia, and plenty of sing-along moments.

Make it a perfect Miami night out: grab dinner in downtown Miami or Brickell before the show (the free Metromover makes getting around easy), then head to the Knight Center at 400 SE 2nd Avenue. It’s the kind of plan that only Miami can offer — world-class Latin music under the downtown lights.
