Sunday Mornings Taste Better at the Vizcaya Village Farmers Market

Few Sunday plans beat this one: strolling through one of Miami’s most breathtaking gardens while tasting the best of local makers. Every Sunday in October, Vizcaya’s historic farm and village hosts the Vizcaya Village Farmers Market — a morning of fresh delicacies, handcrafted goods, farm produce, baked treats, and vegan finds, all set among palms and historic stone paths.

The market is part of Vizcaya’s October rhythm of wellness and discovery: $5 Sunday wellness classes (yoga on the first three Sundays, rotating sessions like tai chi, Zumba, and sound bowl meditation), free for members, plus $6 guided tours of the historic Vizcaya Village every Sunday at 11 a.m. For orchid lovers, there’s also a special behind-the-scenes guided tour of Vizcaya’s rare orchids with the museum’s own orchid specialist — an intimate look at some of the estate’s most precious blooms.

Good food, green spaces, and a National Historic Landmark as your backdrop: that’s a Miami Sunday done right.
