The Wolfsonian–FIU is throwing a Halloween party the whole family will love — and it’s completely free. “Howl-O-Ween at The Wolf” takes over the Miami Beach museum on Sunday, October 18 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with an enchanting “Once Upon a Time” theme.
Inspired by Cinderella’s glass slippers from the museum’s current exhibition “Foot Notes: Shoes, Symbolism, and Society,” the afternoon is packed with magic for all ages: interactive story time and a craft activity led by Miami fiber artist Pangea Kali Virga, bingo with prizes, costumed figure drawing, sweet treats and a library open house celebrating fairy tales and folklore.
Multigenerational and totally free, Howl-O-Ween is one of those rare Halloween events where grandparents, parents and little ones all have a wonderful time together. Costumes are welcome — bring your little prince, princess or pumpkin to the Wolfsonian for an afternoon of fairy-tale fun.
