The spotlight is on Miami’s youngest stars. On October 10–11, the Miami Children’s Museum presents Arts Alive! All The World’s A Stage Theatre Weekend — two days of theatrical fun led by the museum’s in-house Theater Troupe.
Kids can step into the world of theater with activities inspired by the museum’s new Halloween production, “The Creepy Pair of Underwear”: create shadow puppets and tell a story, design glow-in-the-dark underpants and test them under the blacklight on stage, warm up those jazz hands for a musical song-and-dance number, and take a backstage tour. The weekend wraps with a performance of the spooktacular production itself.
It’s the perfect warm-up for Halloween season at the museum, ahead of Mini Monster Monday on October 26. Whether your child dreams of Broadway or just loves to play pretend, this is their weekend to shine.
